Shreducation G.A.P.S. outline
G.A.P.S. (Grom. Am. Pro. Shred.) is a program designed by Shreducation to accommodate the education of young aspiring Freestyle Snowboarders and Skiers. These athletes have aspirations of improving their skill level and potentially taking snowboarding/skiing to a level beyond being a ‘fun hobby’. The program caters to these needs of the athlete on all levels and in every aspect of the sport and training. G.A.P.S. works with athletes from a young age and basic skill level all the way up to professional world ranking competition.
What separates Shreducation G.A.P.S. from other snowboard/ski coaching programs is its history, knowledge, and experience of the sport. Jesse Fulton, the founder, went pro at the early age of 14 and retired 12 years later. With a strong desire to use his knowledge and experience he gained while on the professional circuit, Jesse decided to create an elite freestyle snowboard coaching program.
Through the multi levels of the program, Jesse and our coaches educate the aspiring athletes, passing down their knowledge and secrets of snowboarding mathematics. With his unorthodox technique and complete dissection of freestyle snowboarding, Jesse has proven to mold highly skilled and sometimes unbeatable riders. With over 36 professional podiums in his career and now over 300 Shreducation Athlete podiums and hundreds of thousands of dollars in winnings, the Shreducation program is expanding to be available to all freestyle snowboard and ski enthusiasts.
In 2010 we partnered with Tom Dolezel to introduce Shreducation Ski to our Roster. We incorporated the G.A.P.S. program into our Freestyle Ski component, so all of our Shreducation athletes, Snow and Ski, are following the same style of coaching and process.
Shreducation G.A.P.S. Goal:
To develop the ultimate freestyle rider beginning at any age or level, and provide them with the knowledge to strive for excellence in not just one specific discipline, but in snowboarding/skiing as a whole.
Next to safety, the most important aspect of snowboarding/skiing is being the universal rider. The ultimate freestyle rider should be able to initiate any trick, anywhere, anytime off anything! Shreducation G.A.P.S. athletes strive to make any trick or obstacle become second nature to them. The athlete should be in well enough shape to tackle all aspects of the sport. We provide dry land training outlines and pre and post stretching diagrams to fit this need.
