Tom Dolezel has had an illustrious career as a pro skier for almost a decade. Starting in ski racing at a young age, Tom has been bred a skier and had developed an uncanny sense on snow. He is able to analyze the abilities of any level of skier to determine their points of weaknesses and strengths and improve their ability and maximize their talent.
Tom has traveled, trained, and been coached by the best ski coaches all over the world. He raced with the Ontario Ski Team on the Nor Am circuit and was at the Junior National team level at the end of his racing carreer. Tom always enjoyed jumping and being creative on snow, and when he finally made the full transition to freeskiing he began winning contests and picking up new sponsors. Tom became the only pro skier for NFA Clothing, which was up until that point, a snowboard/skateboard exclusive brand. He signed a pro deal with Electric visual, and became the highest/top paid athlete on the Atomic Freeskiing team at the time.
After winning qualifying events, Tom secured himself a spot in the Winter X-Games and continued make his mark as one of the best park skiers in the world at events such as the US Open, Gravity Games, World Ski Invitational and at photo shoots for Skier, Powder, and Freeskier Magazine.
Tom is a graduate of Ryerson University’s renowned Radio and Television program and over the past year has been hosting and producing segments as the Sports Correspondent for MTV News. Tom?s passion for skiing has encouraged him to develop Shreduaciton Ski. He is a long time friend of Shreduaction founder and pro snowboarder Jesse Fulton and has seen first hand the potential for success of the athletes coming out of the area.
After several short years, the Shreduaction snowboarding program has produced some of the youngest and most proficient professional snowboarders in the world. Shreducation Ski has been swiftly following in its footsteps to raise the bar of excellence even higher.
“I’ve been blown away by the progression and abilities of all the upcoming new skiers. There are freeski coaching programs in place, but all of them seem to be lacking essential building blocks that any successful or aspiring pro skier needs. Shreducation Ski builds the foundation, skills, and knowledge necessary to succeed as a professional skier. It is possible for almost every skier out there today to harness their talent and become pro. We are proving that more and more every year. I seriously cannot believe the success that our team has had and I am so proud of each and every one of our athletes!”
